Dominic French, Sr., BS, ACE

Dominic French personifies versatility in fitness and wellness. From technical instructions in the gym to teaching aqua aerobics for teens to seniors, “jack of MANY trades” is an understatement. No stranger to organized athletics himself, Dominic had no idea that his love for exercise would not only change his life, but many others as well.

“After operating on such a high level in athletics, you wonder how will that huge rush of excitement to translate into everyday life.”

That so called “rush,” hits you just as hard when you contribute to the success in changing someone elses life! What better way to help someone than to help them live longer, move their bodies without struggling, learn to eat to live and not vice versa, and lastly just help an individual feel better about themselves from the inside out?

While attending the University of Texas at Austin on a Track & Field scholarship, Dominic finished in 1997 with Bachelors in Science degree in Kinesiology. While competing for UT he was a NCAA All-American, and also had a chance to learn from some of the best coaches and athletes in the world.

He is a certified trainer by American Council on Exercise (ACE). Dominic sits on an expert panel for the newly created Get Healthy Clark County Challenge hosted by Southern Nevada Health District.

He worked as a high school sprint coach for more than two years. Dominic instructed classes in aqua aerobics, strength training, conditioning and aerobic kickboxing for the City of Las Vegas and University of Nevada, Reno/ Cooperative Extension’s Healthy Hearts Program.

Dominic’s magnetic personality, enthusiasm and passion shines as he imparts his personal experience, professional skills and training.  Dominic provides a fun and inspiring atmosphere to get in the best shape of your life.

Currently Dominic is a personal trainer at Doolittle Recreation Center and continues to work independently with young athletes and teams as a strength, speed and performance coach
